Finding the Perfect A-frame Sidewalk Sign for our Business

The Birth of Signs and Mirrors
We knew nothing about signs. But we didn't want to buy a plastic A-frame or sandwich board that every other restaurant and juice shop had. Putting a mirror on an A-frame sandwich sandwich board is surprisingly difficult. You need a frame material that is stable and durable enough to withstand outdoor conditions and a mirror that won't crack or break under stress or after falling. We had to source our frame from a local shop near Nolita and found a mirror in lower east side that were cut to our specific dimensions. We think the result is pretty amazing and have gotten more questions as many questions about our signs as we have about our self-portrait studio!
The response was so positive that we decided to share our creation with other businesses, leading to the birth of Signs and Mirrors.
